Silence is one of the strongest narrative engines we have. In this workshop, performers explore how spacing, proximity, stillness, and shared breath create meaning before a single word is spoken. Using Viewpoints-inspired spatial awareness, we experiment with tension, release, diagonals, weight shifts, and shifting power dynamics. Scenes emerge organically through the choreography of the stage.

Maria Kolovou is an educator, improviser, and playwright whose work blends embodied storytelling, dramaturgy, and unscripted theatre. For more than a decade she created award-winning devised theatre in Greece-including two EU-funded projects—and staged multiple youth performances. Her artistic research focuses on presence, emotional truth, and emergent dramaturgy.

The full amount is due on booking. Every student pays the same tuition regardless of attendance. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or drop-outs, so please consider carefully before booking. Our workshops are for 18+ only.

Signing up is a commitment to taking the course and there are no make up classes. Please inform the teacher if you are unable to attend a class or are arriving late.
