The BIG Improv School has a unique tier structure which allows you to choose your own adventure, completing the classes in the order that interest you most.

Start with Foundations and then work your way through a mixture of specialised improv classes, helping you hone your skills at your own pace.

Tier 1

Start here! No prior experience required, we’ll take you through all the basics.
FOUNDATIONS 1 & FOUNDATIONS 2

Tier 2

You must complete both courses before moving to tier 3:
Scene Structure & Character

Tier 3

You must complete all 3 courses before moving to tier 4:
Longform, 2 Person Scenes, Space

Tier 4

In tier 4 we go deeper into specific formats, feedback, other practices. You must compete at least 4 courses from this tier before moving to tier 5:
Freeform, The Harold, Narrative Improv, Pretty Flower, Styles & Genres, Masterclass, Premise & Game, Do a Different Scene, Duos, Monoscene

Elective Courses

Our elective courses exist outside of our regular tier system.
PowerUp! (beginners course with no requirements)
Clown (must have taken Foundations 1 & 2)
Sing Your Song (must have taken Foundations 1 & 2)
Musical Longform (must have taken Scene Structure & Character)
