About the Course

Join us for an intensive 2-day exploration into musical improv through the eyes of your musical characters. You’ve got your song structures in your pocket, and you’re ready to sing, now let’s did deeper!

• Explore characters voices and musicality, as they reveal to you their inner song!

• Tell a story through song, taking the audience on an emotional journey.

• Study different genres, utilising musical and stylistic tricks and tropes to stick your song to.

• Create songs that traverse space and time to intertwine characters, melodies, and entire songs.

* Our musical improv courses are slightly more expensive than our regular programming because they are lead by two teachers simultaneously

Important Information

• To respect everyone’s time, we ask everyone to arrive between 9:40am and 9:55am so that the class may start on time. The doors will be locked at 10:00am sharp so that the teachers can begin the class. At 10.30am the doors will open once more, for anyone who has arrived late.

• Full payment is due on the first day of class, or in instalments by previous arrangement with the school. We do not pro-rate classes. Every student pays the same tuition regardless of attendance.

• Signing up is a commitment to taking the course and there are no make up classes. Please inform the teacher if you are unable to attend a class or are arriving late.

• Didn’t register in time? Don’t fret, just email us to join our waiting list and you will be notified of any spots open. If enough people join the waiting list, a second class may be offered.
