Diversity & Inclusion

We believe that improv is better when it’s diverse, which is why we aim to make our community as inclusive as possible, welcoming all people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexuality, neurodiversity and physical ability.

While scholarships are only part of the equation in increasing representation, our hope is that removing barriers of entry to anyone and everyone who would like to join an improv course will play an important part in diversifying our community.

We currently have full and partial scholarships available for improvisers who identify with one or more of the above under-represented groups, as well as assistance to students who are currently unemployed or low-income.

How to apply

If you would like to access a partial or full scholarship, please get in contact with us. You will not be required to provide justification for your request or give more information than you want to. Financial support is available for everyone, from first time students to students completing higher level courses.

To apply simply write an email to classes@barcelonaimprovgroup.com with:

• Your name

• The course you would like to take

• Your reason for applying

• Whether you require 25%, 50% or 100% scholarship, or some other kind of assistance

• Get 20% off your 2nd (and 3rd) course when you take 2 or more courses simultaneously

• We provide the option to pay for your class instalments, just send us an email to request a payment plan.
