What a weekend! Thanks to everyone came out on Friday and Saturday night to share their secrets and laugh along with us. It's good to know that our naughty audience get up to as many shenanigans as we do! Have a lovely Sunday, rest and repent, and relive all those bizarre confession-inspired scenes!!
Tonight is the night. The heat is on at @tinta_roja_bar with BIG bringing you brand new short and long form improv comedy and theatre. It's been too long, we've missed you, come along tonight and let's hang out! Doors 8.30pm, tickets 10€ on the door.
Work for #bigif6 is well under way and today the selection committee finalised all the performance slots. We'll be announcing the groups in the coming weeks so stay tuned, we know you're going to love them!
The art of the class photo takes years to master, perhaps longer than it takes to master improv itself. These guys are on point, and some of them have even started their own groups!
Classes are well underway for our final semester of the season and were having a ball watching them blossom and grow. Can't wait to see them them all rock it at the end of term showcase!
Shout out to our wonderful designer @beharche who takes all our photos and turns them into kooky and delightful posters for all our shows. This was our show poster for the May show Communication!
We had a blast at @richmondeltspain with our annual teachers' performance. A combination of excellent textbooks and learning materials and interactive theatre games in English make the perfect pair, and the good people at Richmond know it. We have shows and workshops available for English learners and professionals and we come to you!
There is so much improv fun happening that's we haven't been able to keep up. Last month our fancy friend @trentpancy was in town, teaching our community how to rap like a pro and create wonderful duo shows. He graced our stage for 2 nights and the audience was treated to some high energy free form and some very unique duos with Jer & Noah. We may bit be able to travel as much as we'd like, but we can keep bringing the world to Barcelona!!
One stage, two nights, three improvisers. This month, BIG welcomes @trentpancy from Yes Finland and the Finland International Improv Festival. A teacher and performer at BIG IFs 2 & 3, we're thrilled to have Trent back for a week of fun, energy, and creativity. Triple Double will feature 3 shows; in Act I, a trio of Jeremie, Noah, and Trent performing Broken Chain, where we play dozens of characters, all linked to the others. In Act II, Trent will perform a duo with each of the BIG players. We've never had a BIG show quite like this and we'll have 2 back to back! See you there! Tickets 10€, cash only Doors open 20:30, show starts at 21:00 Come early to reserve your seat- first come, first served.
Spring has definitely sprung and so have we. Thanks to everyone who came along on Saturday night, we were full up and turning folks away 15 mins before the show. We had some wonderful on stage volunteers, and had a blast in our living room escaping cages, taking our turns and enjoying restroom social life. A huge thanks to our wonderful crew who make it all happen seamlessly!
