C.A.N.

C.A.N (The Netherlands) is Cené Hale (Boom Chicago) and Nora McLeese (Tag Out Theatre) come together to form C.A.N., a duo with wit, speed and heart. Both known for their big and bold characters, these two Amsterdam-based, American-bred improvisers first met in 2016 and bonded over their shared love of silliness, playing with intention and failing hard on stage.

In its traditional form, the La Ronde shows a series of at least six characters – all played by different actors – as they interact sequentially, showing how they are linked, ending with the first and last characters together. So, what happens when only two actors have to play all these characters? With the show format stay intact or will the threads unravel? C.A.N. takes on the challenge.
