Longform Form Study: The Living Room

This course is not available this term. Please visit http://www.barcelonaimprovgroup.com/classes/ to see what is on offer for Spring 2016.

Starting on Wednesday, January 20th, B.I.G. will be offering the following form study. Students must have completed an Introduction to Longform Improvisation course here or elsewhere, and if not, must audition for the course. If you wish to take it, please read the class dates and reserve your space.

Originally inspired by a dinner party full of improvisers that couldn’t stay in their seats, The Living Room is a form that mixes authentic conversation with longform scenes, providing an opportunity for deep discoveries and creative play. This five week form study culminates in a show. The class will be conducted like a rehearsal process for a team. Completion of Introduction to Longform Improvisation or instructor approval are required.

The 3-hour sessions will run on Wednesday evenings from 7.00pm to 10.00pm with a short break in the middle.

This is a special 5-week form study, taught by BIG instructor Noah Levin, designed to coach improvisers trained in Longform in a new format! Students applying to this class must have taken Introduction to Longform or must audition for the class.  Please inquire on the form below if you would like to set up an audition.

Price and Class Size

The Living Room form study costs 120€ if you choose to pay in installments, or 105€ if you pay in full at the first class.

We’re keeping the team size small so that everyone has the maximum opportunity to perform, practice, and get personal feedback with the teacher – the maximum size is 10. With such limited spaces, it’s a good idea to get in touch with us as soon as possible to enquire about availability.

If you sign up, that means that you are committed to attend all 5 rehearsals. Please inform the teacher if you will be unable to attend a session or if you are coming late. There are no make-up classes. If you are paying via a payment plan, you need to bring cash to pay in installments at each session.
